This product covers portions of southwest Alabama...northwest Florida...south
central Alabama...and inland southeast Mississippi.

** TROPICAL STORM AND HURRICANE WARNINGS CANCELLED FOR OUR AREA**

NEW INFORMATION

SITUATION OVERVIEW

At 4:00 PM CDT, Hurricane Michael was located near latitude
30.9 North, longitude 85.1 West with maximum sustained winds of
125 mph. Michael is moving north-northeastward away from our area
at 16 mph. All tropical storm and hurricane warnings have been
cancelled for our area. A Wind Advisory will be in effect this
evening for Crenshaw and Covington counties in south central
Alabama and for Okaloosa county in the western Florida panhandle.
Please take note that dangerous life threatening surf conditions
will continue along the Alabama and western Florida beaches through
late tonight, and a High Risk of Rip Currents is in effect. A High
Surf Advisory and a Coastal Flood Advisory will also be in effect
through tonight for coastal areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

if the time comes during hurricane season, you are ready to execute

          - The tropical storm warning has been cancelled for the
            following counties in Alabama, Butler, Crenshaw, Conecuh,
            Covington and Escambia, and in the western Florida panhandle,
            Escambia Inland, Santa Rosa Inland, and Okaloosa Inland.  The
            hurricane warning has been cancelled for the following
            counties in the western Florida panhandle, Escambia Coastal,
            Santa Rosa Coastal, and Okaloosa coastal.
