HANNA CONTINUES TO WEAKEN NOW OVER NORTHEAST MEXICO
ALL WATCHES AND WARNINGS HAVE BEEN CANCELED FOR SOUTH TEXAS

NEW INFORMATION

SITUATION OVERVIEW

Hanna continues to weaken as it pushes westward and center has
crossed into northeastern Mexico. Heavy rainfall will still be
possible across the area today with the potential for a storm total
rainfall of 5 to 10 inches and isolated higher amounts remaining.
Other threats have decreased significantly. 1 to 2 feet of
inundation is still possible along the coast and bays through today
as the water slowly subsides. An isolated tornado will also be
possible within some of the rainbands that continue today as well as
some strong wind gusts.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

Additional impacts from flooding rain are still a concern across the
rest of South Texas. . Remain well guarded against dangerous flood
waters having further impacts of significant potential.

Elsewhere across South Texas, little to no impact is anticipated.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

Do not go sightseeing within impacted communities. Sightseers
interfere with the emergency work of first responders.

Be alert for any lingering wind gusts which could take down weakened
trees and/or power lines, collapse damaged structures, or cause
flying debris.

            southwest of Port Oconnor TX
          - 26.3N 98.9W
          - Storm Intensity 60 mph
          - Movement West-southwest or 250 degrees at 9 mph
