A. TROPICAL CYCLONE SUMMARY:
(1) AT 01NOV22 0000Z, TYPHOON 26W (NALGAE) WAS LOCATED NEAR 19.1N
116.1E, APPROXIMATELY 220 NM SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF HONG KONG, AND HAD
TRACKED NORTH-NORTHWESTWARD AT 05 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS. MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 70 KNOTS GUSTING TO 85 KNOTS.

(2) AT 31OCT22 1800Z, TROPICAL DEPRESSION 27W (BANYAN) WAS
LOCATED NEAR 7.1N 132.1E, APPROXIMATELY 108 NM NORTH OF SONSOROL, AND
HAD TRACKED WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 04 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 25 KNOTS GUSTING TO

(3) NO OTHER TROPICAL CYCLONES.
