All Tropical and Storm Surge Warnings Have Been Cancelled Across East Central
Florida

CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
STORM INFORMATION:
Hurricane Dorian is now about 120 miles northeast of Daytona Beach
in Volusia County and moving north-northwest at 8 mph. With the
hurricane moving farther away tonight all Tropical Storm and Storm
Surge Warnings have been discontinued for east central Florida.
Large swells may produce moderate beach erosion around the time of
high tide around 1 am north of Port Canaveral but storm surge is not
expected. Breezy winds into this evening will diminish by late tonight.
WIND:
Breezy conditions will continue across northern portions of East
Central Florida into this evening with diminishing winds overnight.
SURGE:
A Coastal Flood Advisory and High Surf Advisory is now in effect across
the Coastal Volusia and northern Brevard coast tonight. Storm surge is
not expected.
EVACUATIONS:
Heed your local county emergency management agency instructions about
the return to evacuated areas.
OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION:
High surf is expected along the Volusia and Brevard county coast with seas
not diminishing until sometime on Thursday. Do not enter the surf at night.
