Conditions Improving as Isaias Moves Away from the Region

NEW INFORMATION

SITUATION OVERVIEW

Hurricane Isaias continues moving northward well offshore of
the Charleston area and will move north along the South Carolina coast
into tonight. No significant impacts associated with Isaias are
expected.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

When going outside, be sure to stay away from downed trees
and flooded areas.

NEXT UPDATE

This will be the final statement regarding Isaias issued by the
National Weather Service in Columbia SC.

      * STORM INFORMATION:
          - About 120 miles east-southeast of Orangeburg SC
          - 32.8N 79.0W
          - Storm Intensity 75 mph
          - Movement North-northeast or 15 degrees at 16 mph
      
      SITUATION OVERVIEW
      ------------------
      
      Hurricane Isaias continues moving northward well offshore of
      the Charleston area and will move north along the South Carolina coast
      into tonight. No significant impacts associated with Isaias are 
      expected. 
      
      POTENTIAL IMPACTS
      -----------------
      
      * FLOODING RAIN:
      Impacts from flooding rain have diminished across the 
      eastern Midlands. Remain well guarded against locally 
      hazardous flood waters having further impacts of limited potential.
      
      * WIND:
      Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time 
      across the Midlands of central South Carolina and east central 
      Georgia CSRA.
