Dorian Continues to Move Away from the Area with Diminishing Winds
and Rain Overnight

NEW INFORMATION

SITUATION OVERVIEW

Dorian is forecast to lift away from the South Carolina coast tonight.
Gusty winds will continue across the eastern Midlands and Pee Dee region
but will continue to diminish this evening. Light rain will continue through
the evening before dissipating after midnight in the eastern Midlands.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

NEXT UPDATE

As it pertains to this event...this will be the last local statement
issued by the National Weather Service in Columbia SC regarding the
effects of tropical cyclone hazards upon the area.

          - Movement Northeast or 35 degrees at 10 mph
